Job Summary
This role is pivotal in managing and maintaining inventory levels, coordinating with departments, conducting regular audits, and utilizing inventory management software.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
* Coordinate with teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
* Forecast supply needs based on historical data and market trends.
* Manage damaged or obsolete inventory items.
* Optimize logistics and transportation processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
* Resolve discrepancies and variances in inventory levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
* Experience with forecasting and supply chain analysis.
* A good understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting.
* Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g. ERP systems level), MS Excel & Office.
* A qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
