Senior Social Worker
Purpose and Role:
* This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist child sexual abuse service, providing social work supports to children and families impacted by child sexual abuse.
The post holder will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) responsible for delivering assessments and providing therapeutic interventions to children and their families attending the service.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will participate in case conferences, MDT meetings and other professional meetings. You will also contribute to service development, monitoring and evaluation, as well as the provision of training and consultations.
You will receive individual and clinical supervision from the Principal Social Worker, as well as group case management and reflective process supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work with children and adolescents who have been affected by child sexual abuse, and their families.
* To conduct thorough assessments and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
* To develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external agencies.
Essential Criteria:
* A recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Registration with CORU.
* At least three years' post-qualification experience in social work with children and families.
