Role Overview
The Ecommerce Merchandiser will optimize Carrolls Irish Gifts' product assortment across our website and third-party marketplaces-including Amazon-to maximize sales, maintain brand consistency, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong analytical, creative, and organizational skills, with a focus on adapting merchandising strategies for both owned and external platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and update inventory levels, pricing, and promotions across all channels, coordinating cross functionally to prevent stockouts or overselling.
* Curate and manage product listings for CarrollsIrishGifts.com, Amazon, and other marketplaces, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with each platform's requirements.
* Work closely with buyers, marketing, and creative teams to coordinate new product launches, promotional calendars, and content updates for all channels.
* Set up and maintain Amazon Seller Central and other marketplace accounts, ensuring all business, tax, and compliance information is up to date.
* Optimize titles, bullet points, product descriptions, and images for Amazon, adhering to character limits, keyword best practices, and Amazon's SEO guidelines.
* Track and analyse sales, conversion rates, and other KPIs across own website and marketplaces, providing actionable insights to improve performance.
* Liaise with external partners, digital agencies, and marketplace support teams to resolve issues and implement best practices.
Required Skills And Experience
* Proficiency with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), inventory management, and analytics tools.
* 2+ years' experience in ecommerce merchandising, with direct experience managing Amazon and other marketplaces.
* Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, listing optimization, and marketplace compliance requirements.
* Excellent copywriting skills for product titles, bullet points, and descriptions tailored to marketplace SEO.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple product categories and channels simultaneously.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field preferred.
