Apply today.The Role.The Site Supervisor will play a key role in managing the daily operations of multiple civil crews working across various ESB/ESBN sites. This position requires excellent coordination, communication, and organisational skills to ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:Act as the main point of contact with ESB/ESBN, Project Managers, and Site Managers regarding current and upcoming works.Manage and coordinate 3 civil crews operating on separate nationwide sites.Conduct daily site visits to monitor compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.Interpret and review design drawings when required to support on-site works.Organise and oversee the daily logistics for all crews, including plant, materials, and muck-away.Maintain detailed records including:Monthly reports (ESB & GMC)DAS entriesTimesheetsSupervisor auditsHAZCONsProgress photographsThe Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:Proven experience in a site supervisory role within the civil or utilities sector.Strong understanding of ESB/ESBN operational requirements is a significant advantage.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate resources across different sites.Excellent organisational and reporting skills.Familiarity with HSEQ standards and procedures.Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and other relevant site certifications (desirable).Become a part of something bigger.At the heart of GMC is our people, from engineers through to customer service and we aim to work collaboratively towards our common goals.GMC is an equal opportunity employer, and we aim to recruit and retain like-minded people from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of expertise.In GMC we foster a work culture that promotes collaboration and learning, building an environment where our people have the capacity to maximise their potential whilst gaining the opportunity to continuously develop.Our Future.Since the founding of GMC in 1981 by Gerry McCloskey, GMC has grown to be Ireland's leading Civils and Utilities company and the future for GMC is bright.
