Department:Claims ManagementLocation:DublinDescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Claims Handler to join our Claims team. This role is based in our personal injury claims team and designed for individuals looking to start their career in insurance and gain hands-on experience in claims handling.The successful candidate will gradually learn to handle personal injury claims from inception to closure, attend court hearings, negotiate settlements with solicitors, meet with clients & brokers/Insurers and ultimately to bring such claims to a successful and economical conclusion.The role will be based in our office in Parkwest Business Park, Dublin 12.What will your day look like:Claims Processing : Assist in the intake, review, and processing of insurance claims.Customer Service: Provide support to claimants, answering queries and guiding them through the claims process.Documentation: Ensure all claim documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately.Investigation: Support the investigation of claims to determine validity and coverage.Communication: Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to facilitate claim resolution.Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop knowledge and skills in claims handling.Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Learning And Development:As part of this role, you will be required to study and obtain your CIP designation from the Insurance Institute of Ireland. Exams will be paid for by Davies.
