The Rose Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Tralee, Co Kerry. We are currently recruiting for an experienced barperson to work in the hotel.
This role is mainly to work the evening shift both during the week and at weekends
Flexibility within the 2 bar outlets in the hotel is required - Dotts Bar and Lee Suite (Banqueting Suite).
The successful candidate will be serving drink only - no food skills required.
Main duties:
* To provide service of drinks to all guests in Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting areas
* To adhere to The Rose Hotel customer service standard
* To be knowledgeable in all aspects of drinks, to be able to make cocktails an advantage
* To ensure that Dotts Bar and Banqueting areas are set up to the agreed standard
* To ensure that the Dotts Bar and Banqueting areas are kept clean, tidy and free from hazards at all times
* To ensure that guests bills are correct and to ensure that all items served are included on the guest bill
* To ensure that all Dotts Bar and Banqueting equipment is kept clean and tidy and stored appropriately
* To ensure that adequate mis en place is completed for each shift
* To ensure that the glass wash area is kept clean and tidy at all times
* To ensure that all fridges are kept clean and tidy.
* To ensure that cleaning records are completed on a daily basis
* To ensure that the store room in the back of Dotts Bar is kept clean and tidy
* To complete all required training both inhouse and legislative.
Requirements:
* To have at least 1 years experience in a busy bar/hotel bar
* To be able to work evenings - this will include weekends and public holidays
* To be able to work as part of a team
* Must be fluent in English - at least leave C1 or C2
* To work with management/supervisors
