Cpl Healthcare is excited to announce a number of excellent opportunities to work with our client in the disability sector. We are currently recruiting Community Support Workers – New Directions & Outreach to join Day Services based in Clane and Naas, Kildare.

The Role
As a Community Support Worker, you will play a key role in empowering service users to actively participate in their community while supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support and empower service users to live independent lives in their home and local community
2. Assist in the development, implementation, and review of individual person-centred plans
3. Build and maintain community partnerships to promote active citizenship in line with service user goals and wishes
4. Transport service users to access community-based activities and services
5. Act as a Key Worker, including weekly administration, advocacy, liaising with families, and supporting person-centred planning
6. Promote dignity, choice, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
7. A relevant QQI qualification (minimum Level 5) in Healthcare or a related discipline
8. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or within a relevant sector
9. Be 18 years of age or older
10. A full clean manual driving licence and access to own vehicle for work purposes
11. Excellent spoken and written English
12. A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to care
