Job Title: Operator
Reporting To: Supervisor, Production
Work Schedule: Onsite – Carrigaline, IE
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Operate assembly equipment required to complete specified tasks.
2. Prepare components for manual assembly.
3. Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment.
4. Use torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners.
5. Perform manual assembly of PCBs and some mechanical hardware according to formal assembly procedures, process procedures, assembly drawings, and SOPs.
6. Handle components such as printed circuit cards and electronic components.
7. Apply adhesives and conformal coatings.
8. Prototype assembly work under engineering control.
9. Set up equipment and carry out process-related measurements as required.
10. Perform operator machine maintenance as specified.
11. Inspect and rework PCBs and components per established criteria.
12. Use safety equipment during maintenance activities.
13. Complete all necessary production-related documentation.
14. Use our ERP system to transact work orders.
15. Adhere to requirements relating to personal tool maintenance, anti-static precautions, safety, and housekeeping.
Preferable Qualifications & Skills:
* Knowledge of IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J-Standard and their applications.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven track record of commitment to quality and production goals.
* Positive, flexible approach with good interpersonal skills.
* Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience/knowledge of assembly functions.
* Detail-oriented.
* Problem-solving capabilities.
* Good time management.
* Personable, able to deal pleasantly with a variety of people.
