General Ledger Accountant
We are seeking a skilled Financial Professional to join our team as a General Ledger Accountant. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly financial reports, including analysis of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
* Review and preparation of statutory financial statements.
* Liaison with external auditors for periodic and year-end review procedures for local statutory audits.
* Cooperation with Tax Specialists and Advisors ensuring compliance with all external reporting requirements.
* Assistance with requirements for SOX Compliance and Reporting.
* Preparation, analysis and posting of journals at month end.
* Preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations at month end.
Requirements:
* Certified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* 0-5 years relevant experience, preferably in a Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation environment.
* Familiarity with SAP/Oracle or other major ERP Systems is desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Strong computer skills, especially MS Office.
