Phorest powers 11,000 hair and beauty salons using our software across the globe. Our aim is to capture 25% of the market globally – that’s one million salons and a billion-dollar company.
We are growing and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster.
The Opportunity
As a Senior People Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor to groups in Germany, the UK and Ireland — helping to shape culture, enable growth and develop high-performing teams.
You’ll work closely with the leadership teams and bring your coaching mindset and collaborative style to enable our business goals and bring our values to life. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves building and coaching to make a real impact in a fast-moving, people-centric organisation.
We are open to both hybrid and fully remote candidates in the UK, Ireland or Germany for this role. If you are based near one of our offices we try to spend 1-2 days a week together in the office but a number of our team are also fully remote. As a Senior People Partner you will need to spend regular time with the teams you support in person regularly and should expect to travel to our offices in both Dublin, Ireland and Cologne, Germany, on a quarterly basis.
What You'll Do
* Start by developing a deep understanding of our business and strategy.
* Build high trust relationships with the groups you support.
* Act as a consultant and coach for leaders and their teams.
* Partner in change, organisation design, workforce planning, succession planning and talent initiatives to identify and meet current and future talent needs.
* Partner with centres of excellence within the People team to create highly impactful People programs and enable great communication with your business groups.
* Understand and add to our culture and values and contribute to an excellent employee experience.
* Foster and support a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
* Leverage data and metrics to guide decision-making.
Who You Are
* Significant experience as a People Partner to senior stakeholders in a forward thinking organisation, ideally scaling SaaS.
* Experienced in practical terms partnering with teams in both Germany and either the UK/Ireland. Confident managing employee relations, advising on more complex leave requests etc.
* Strong coaching skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
* Strong business acumen and understanding of how the People function enables business success.,
* Comfortable working in the grey with great problem solving skills, critical thinking and analysis.
* Strong communication skills and business level language skills in both English and German.
* Capable of working independently and structuring your own schedule effectively, managing time and asks.
* Confident managing multiple priorities and projects.
