Day Activities Facilitator Job Description
The role of a Day Activities Facilitator is to develop and deliver schemes of work and learning programmes in line with national guidelines.
* Plan, prepare and deliver programmes to a range of classes, ensuring suitability for individual needs and abilities.
* Encourage, monitor and record progress of individuals, devising and adapting resources as needed.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of subject areas, new resources and methods.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement schemes of work and learning programmes that meet the needs of individuals supported by the service.
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective programmes that promote personal growth and development.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
* Ensure that all interactions with individuals are respectful, empathetic and person-centred.
Required Skills and Qualifications

* Relevant qualification or experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
