Key Responsibilities
* Design & Execute:
Develop and execute test plans and cases (functional, regression, integration).
* Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution.
* Collaboration:
Work with development and product teams on requirements, design, and feedback.
* Automation & Improvement:
Automate testing tasks and continuously improve testing processes for efficiency.
* Reporting:
Analyze results, create detailed reports, and maintain all testing documentation.
* Compliance:
Ensure all testing adheres to industry best practices and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
* Experience:
2-3 years in software testing or quality assurance.
* Technical Skills:
Proficiency in testing tools/methodologies, and strong understanding of SDLC/STLC.
* Testing:
Experience with both
manual and automated
testing techniques.
* Core Competencies:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
Preferred (But Not Essential)
* Knowledge of Ranorex /
SQL
for database querying.
* Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies.
* Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
* Experience using an
ERP
system.
