We are looking an experienced site engineers to join our team in Kerry.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & QualityChampion compliance with the company's Safety Statement and HSQE management systems.Stay informed on current statutory HSE requirements and ensure compliance across all activities.Prepare and deliver toolbox talks, method statements, and risk assessments.Act promptly on unsafe conditions and report them to the Contracts Manager.Ensure protective equipment and safe practices are in place for all site works.Step into the Project Manager/Site Agent role on health, safety, and environmental issues when required.Maintain quality control in line with company procedures, inspection/test plans, and specifications.Site & Project ManagementInterpret and review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.Carry out setting out, levelling, and surveying activities to project standards.Oversee daily site operations, supervising direct labour and subcontractors.Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and statutory authorities.Manage requisitioning of plant, materials, and equipment in collaboration with purchasing teams.Prepare as-built drawings, technical reports, site diaries, and material returns.Liaise with planning, commercial, design, and HSQE teams to ensure efficient project delivery.Resolve technical issues with clients, employer's representatives, and stakeholders.Planning & DeliveryAssist with project budget preparation and cost control.Review programmes, highlight constraints, and monitor progress against milestones.Organize plant, labour, and site facilities to meet deadlines.Conduct post-construction reviews to inform continuous improvement.Understand contract conditions and assess implications of variations or change orders.RequirementsA Master's degree in Engineering (Civil/Environmental preferred).4–5 years' experience as a Setting-Out Engineer, with proven site management exposure.Experience in water/wastewater projects highly desirable.Membership (or working towards membership) of a relevant professional body.Strong knowledge of Irish construction standards, safety legislation, and infrastructure delivery.Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to lead site teams.Full clean Irish/UK/EU driving licence.Valid work authorisation in Ireland (Work Permit or Stamp 4 Visa).Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €43,124.85-€72,558.12 per yearEducation:Bachelor's (preferred)Experience:Contractor: 1 year (preferred)
