Bookkeeping Specialist Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeping Specialist to join our office-based team in Dublin 4 on a full-time permanent basis.
About the Role
This role involves working closely with the Financial Controller and playing a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the accounts function.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Processing accounts payable and handling supplier invoices
* Managing utilities, rent, rates, and service charge reconciliations
* Preparing and processing regular payment runs
* Maintaining and reconciling multiple bank accounts
* Preparing bank reconciliations and assisting with cash flow reporting
* Liaising with external accountants and assisting with audit preparation
* Submitting VAT returns and assisting in the preparation of other tax filings
* Responding to queries from the senior leadership team
* Supporting ad hoc finance tasks as needed within the team
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* 5+ years' experience in a similar bookkeeping role
* Good knowledge of payable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
* Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP/accounting software
* Solid communication skills and the ability to work independently
* An Accounting Technician qualification is an advantage but not required
