Job Title: Senior Estimator
Main Responsibilities:
* Calculate anticipated costs for projects considering all relevant circumstances.
* Manage tender documents and ensure the wider team is informed.
* Issue sub-contract and material enquiries, including scope of works and attendance schedules.
* Chase tender returns and update enquiry schedules.
* Raise tender queries in conjunction with the wider team.
* Develop and assess risk schedules and opportunity assessments.
* Compile clarifications and estimator notes to fill gaps in tenders.
* Analyze tenders and prices received from the supply chain.
* Present clear nett costings identifying risks and opportunities.
* Complete tender submissions including Form of Tender, Bills of quantities & associated commercial information.
Requirements:
* Degree Qualified in the construction field (Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Technology)
* 6+ Years' experience in a similar role i.e. Estimating or Quantity Surveying role
* Strong analytical and numeracy skills
