We're hiring a General Ledger Accountant on behalf of a leading multinational client with operations across Europe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced finance professional to join a collaborative team and gain exposure to international accounting, financial reporting, and commercial finance.
Duties: Prepare monthly management accounts, trial balances, and profit & loss analysis Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close Handle payroll accounting, VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory filings Support KPI reporting, budgeting, and financial statement preparation Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, commercial, and operations Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements Drive process improvements and contribute to finance transformation projects Liaise with international finance teams across EMEA Skills Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) Minimum 2-3 years' experience in GL accounting, financial reporting, or commercial finance Fluency in Italian and English (essential) Strong Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
