We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities.
Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and rotating.
The role is a school term time, allowing staff to enjoy break's during Easter, Summer, Halloween, Christmas etc.
This position is ideal for parents/guardians of school going children and those who appreciate longer breaks.
Hours are 8am to 4pm
Receive in deliveries ensuring all products are in good condition & as per paperwork.
Reject stock if not in acceptable condition & report any discrepancies.
Perform inventory counts for the office to ensure weekly ordering requirement are placed and stock levels maintained
Strip down pallets and move stock to specific areas ensuring to rotate stock
Each day restock the packaging containers for the meal packing rooms
Pick the consumables needed for the school for the deliveries drivers
Assist with the packing of the hot boxes for the daily deliveries
Ensure that there is a consist feed of insulation boxes for meal packers
Assist in cleaning the installation boxes
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
Ensure the rotation of all stock on FIFO bases.
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Responsible to ensure all waste material/packaging is managed appropriately
Upkeep of delivery yard
Follow all safety procedures & guideline.
Requirements
Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects, understanding of manual handling procedures.
Most have Current forklift licence
Ability to work under own initiative.
Full driving license & comfortable driving a van .
