Location: Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland
Client / Employer: Occupop (operating through TJ O' Mahony Tullamore, Axis Business Park, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, R35 YP86 - part of HPC Sales Ltd., Ireland's leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store).
Job Purpose
To grow and maintain the customer base and increase sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients, engaging and developing new customers and leads, supporting these as required, managing customer expectations and delivering on commitments, and working closely with internal sales, purchasing, and central services within the wider Group network.
Responsibilities
Manage existing key account customers.
Prepare quotations and liaise with customers on order delivery and payments.
Identify leads for new business development and build relationships with new customers and suppliers.
Deal with suppliers, negotiate prices, place orders and ensure orders are received and processed appropriately within the Goods Inwards system.
Work closely and collaborate with the HPC Group teams, including TJ O'Mahony branch staff and credit control to provide best in class customer service.
Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, technological advancements, market conditions, competitors, and answer any questions/queries about the products.
Collaborate with the Branch Manager, Sales Director and sales team to develop sales strategies, set targets and achieve revenue goals.
Diligently log, track and maintain sales activity in the CRM system.
Complete sales reports and meet agreed deadlines and targets.
Maintain and expand client database.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Self-motivated, excellent communicator with strong negotiation, planning and consultative sales skills.
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales and margin targets.
Capacity to work in a busy, target-driven sales environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
IT proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel.
Previous experience in the building merchant sector desirable.
