You'll help clients make informed decisions about managing capital and transactions in a changing world, advising businesses on preserving, optimising, raising, and investing capital to achieve their strategic objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities
Typical activities include:
* Assisting clients throughout the transaction process, working closely with specialists in SaT and other Service Lines.
* Analysing financial and operational results of targeted companies by reviewing financial information and participating in management interviews.
* Preparing and reviewing analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations impacting funding requirements and deal valuation.
* Leading project teams, collaborating with members, and forming strong internal links within EY both in Ireland and internationally.
* Connecting with specialists to research technical accounting issues and evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring, communicating effectively with clients.
* Planning, preparing, and leading client deliverables, including Excel data analysis, reports, presentations, and discussion packs.
* Presenting to clients and stakeholders, playing a key role in business planning initiatives, and contributing to a positive learning culture for junior team members.
* Collaborating with the wider team on account management, target client research, recruitment, and other initiatives.
Requirements for the Role
* A strong academic record, including a degree in Business or Commerce, or an equivalent qualification.
* ACA/ACCA qualified, with current experience working in a transaction financial due diligence role at a manager level.
* Ability to attend the Dublin EY office several days a week.

* Demonstrating a keen interest and high level of curiosity.
* Excellent analytical, IT, and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work well within a team, effective written and verbal communication, and strong work initiative.
* Strong skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
