We are currently recruiting for the position of Kitchen Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will maintain kitchen work areas, all back of house areas etc in accordance with HACCP regulations and cleaning schedules. Ensure all crockery, cutlery and glassware are washed and stored accordingly.Key Responsibilities:To clean all pots, pans and any other equipment as required and ensure they are stored correctly and neatlyEnsure all crockery, cutlery and glassware are washed properly, dried and stored correctly and are available for outlets as requiredMaintenance of kitchen area, sweeping/mopping floors, steam clean or hose out bins as required and emptying bins when full etcTo work closely with the hotels kitchen management team to ensure compliance with all hygiene and health and safety proceduresTo ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire kitchen areaEnsure the kitchen equipment is in working order and report any maintenance issuesCandidate Profile:Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer serviceMust have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environmentHave the ability to work well as part of a teamCandidates must be flexible with regards to hours and available to work weekends also.
