Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate environmental inputs to infrastructure and development projects, including the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), EIA screenings, and non‑statutory environmental reports.
Manage smaller environmental projects independently, including client liaison, budget oversight, and timely delivery.
Support project managers and principal environmental scientists on larger, multidisciplinary projects by coordinating environmental deliverables, timelines, and resources.
Apply your technical specialism (e.g. air quality, climate, noise & vibration, or related discipline) to deliver high‑quality assessments and advice.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, supporting their development and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes.
Contribute to business development activities, including the preparation of proposals, scopes, and fee estimates.
About You
A degree in a relevant environmental science or engineering discipline (e.g. environmental science, sustainability, air and climate, noise, geology, hydrogeology); a Master’s is preferred but not essential.
Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (or working towards it).
Relevant post‑graduate consultancy experience, including Environmental Impact Assessment Reporting and non‑statutory environmental reporting.
Proven experience across sectors such as transport and energy, with strong knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation, guidance, and best practices.
Demonstrated excellence in technical report writing, including EIAR chapters, EIA screenings, and non‑statutory reports.
Experience in project and budget management, environmental survey coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in GIS tools (QGIS, MapInfo, or ArcGIS) is desirable.
Strong communication, analytical, and mentoring skills.
Full, clean driver’s license.
