About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing debtor accounts and leading collection activities, overseeing supplier transactions, purchase processing, and creditor reconciliations. You will also assist with month-end accounts preparation and balance sheet reporting, conduct daily bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and support quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Manage debtor accounts and lead collection activities to ensure timely payments and minimal bad debt.
* Oversee supplier transactions, purchase processing, and creditor reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Assist with month-end accounts preparation and balance sheet reporting to provide accurate and timely financial information.
* Conduct daily bank and balance sheet reconciliations to identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
* Support quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes to help inform business decisions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a similar role.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Location: Louth Village, Ireland.
Candidate Requirements: Valid work permit in Ireland.
