Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller - Ireland, the Financial Controller – Regulated Fund Solutions, Ireland will be an integral part of the team's success.
The role will manage all financial-related activities for the allocated product (Regulated Fund Solutions) and entities within the allocated country (Ireland) – specifically Waystone Management Company IE Limited and Waystone Investment Management IE Limited, the Irish UCITS Manager/AIFM and MIFID businesses of the Waystone Group.
It will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain financial integrity, develop internal controls, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Management Accounting
Drive monthly reporting through the preparation of management accounts, delivering quality financial information in a timely manner.
Present management accounts to the Board of Directors for entities within your control, providing appropriate level of detail and timely responses to queries.
Maintain detailed supporting reconciliations and schedules as part of the month-end close process.
Manage outsourced providers, if applicable, to assist in account preparation.
Financial Reporting
Drive accurate and timely reporting processes, ensure compliance with Waystone Group Policy and reporting requirements.
Prepare or ensure preparation of quality, accurate and compliant annual financial statements for statutory audits of entities within your control.
Contribute to Policy & Procedure initiatives and ensure adoption and adherence by country.
Audit, Tax & Regulatory Compliance
Ultimately responsible for statutory audits of legal entities within your control.
Prepare or ensure preparation of quality, accurate and compliant annual financial statements for statutory audits.
Work with Group Finance to meet financial audit deadlines and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with Group Finance to develop and implement Waystone Finance Policy & Procedure.
Coordinate with Waystone Internal Audit to complete internal audits timely and address any issues.
Be responsible for tax and VAT/GST compliance for legal entities; work with tax and VAT compliance partners and Waystone Group Tax to execute reporting obligations and implement policy.
Ensure implementation of the Group Transfer Pricing Policy.
Provide entity inputs for Regulatory Compliance and ensure timely reporting for all requirements.
Ensure all Finance Policies and Procedures for Regulatory Compliance are implemented and adhered to.
Prepare and file financial returns with regulatory authorities where applicable and stay abreast of regulatory changes.
Finance Operations
Collaborate with Record to Report, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams intra-month and at month-end to ensure complete and accurate accounts.
Review outputs and provide feedback for continuous improvement of these teams.
Maintain consistency in the group-wide chart of accounts to deliver quality reporting.
Planning & Analysis
Collaborate with FP&A to deliver KPIs and management information required by Country leadership.
Assist FP&A to ensure accurate, timely information for decision-making.
Collaborate on annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
Provide monthly variance analysis vs budget, forecast and prior year.
Provide financial and commercial support to drive revenue growth and manage expenditure for Waystone's growth locally and globally, focusing on Regulated Fund Solutions and Ireland.
Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to change initiatives and process/system improvements with the Finance Operations team.
Maintain focus on efficiency and effectiveness in the Finance Function.
Provide Finance leadership in other strategic group initiatives.
Collaboration
Collaborate with tax, VAT, treasury and FP&A, and Finance Operations teams.
Work with colleagues across the Waystone Group to develop solutions and ensure effective communication.
Engage with management within allocated product and country; build relationships with Boards of Directors and respond to queries and deliverables.
Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, servicers and outsourced providers.
Support ad-hoc projects and stay informed on industry, technical, tax and regulatory changes relevant to Regulated Fund Solutions and Ireland.
Qualifications
Requirements

Education
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is preferred.
Recent and relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience
Strong understanding of financial reporting, management accounting and compliance requirements.
Deep understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
Experience in the Asset Management Industry, with exposure to regulated fund products (e.g., management company and distribution).
Good communicator capable of delivering key messages and preparing financial presentations.
Advanced proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office.
Sage Intacct experience is preferable but not required.
Proven accounts system knowledge with multi-IT system exposure, including Salesforce/Intacct, Excel and Power Point.
Highly adaptable, organized, with strong written and oral communication skills across disciplines.
