This role supports the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and industrial infrastructure projects within manufacturing and other industrial settings. The Junior Project Manager will help coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and keep projects on track while gaining exposure to energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple industrial projects from initiation through handover.
* Support management of contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary internal teams.
* Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using tools such as MS Dynamics.
* Track financials, support change control, and assist with invoicing and reporting.
* Contribute to safety, environmental, and quality compliance throughout project execution.
* Help identify project risks and maintain risk registers.
* Produce clear project documentation, progress reports, and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders.
* Support strong health, safety, and environmental practices on all sites.
* Work on‑site in Limerick two days per week and engage with clients, including early‑stage coordination for projects such as those with Amgen (Dublin).
Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
* 2–5 years’ experience in project coordination or junior project management, ideally within industrial, utilities, or capital project environments.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is an advantage.
* Ability to manage stakeholders, communicate effectively, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
* Understanding of mechanical/electrical systems or industrial processes is beneficial but not essential.
* Experience working with industrial clients (e.g., Food & Beverage, Pharma, Medical Devices, Data Centres) is a plus.
* Knowledge of contractor selection and contract administration (NEC, FIDIC, etc.) is desirable.
* Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
