- Flexible I am working with a growing company seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Fire Engineer to lead and grow the business.My client formed as a joint venture between two engineering consutlancies and is a one-stop shop for fire safety solutions, covering fire defect remediation across apartments, data centres, old buildings, fire safety certifications and more.This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious professional to take ownership of a growing business, drive new client acquisition and shape this companys expansion, including into the UK market.You will have full support from the two parent companies and the directors, while enjoying a flexible, nationwide working arrangement.Duties: Lead and grow the company, taking ownership of business development and market strategy.Identify and secure new fire safety projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors, including the UK.Build relationships with key stakeholders, clients and industry partners.Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and in networking opportunities.Oversee the delivery of fire engineering solutions, ensuring high-quality technical standards.Collaborate with directors on strategy, while maintaining operational independence to drive growth.Requirements: Fire engineering qualification and background.Entrepreneurial mindset with hunger to grow a business.Strong business development and client relationship skills.Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with flexible home/office arrangements.Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (proximity to an international airport required).Previous experience in fire defect remediation, building safety, or related sectors.Excellent communication and networking skills.Salary / Benefits: Competitive salary: €80,000€100,000 per annum, dependent on experience.Performance-based bonus scheme.Car allowance or company car.Flexible home/office working arrangement.Opportunity to shape and grow a new business with direct support from directors.Nationwide location flexibility, with focus on accessibility to international travel.If you are a Fire Engineer considering a career move, please send your cv CV or contact Alice Condon for a confidential discussion.GPC will not send any applicants cvs to clients without a full discussion and prior consent.GPC is a specialist construction recruitment consultancy based in Dublin.
