A fantastic client of mine in the aerospace industry are looking to expand their team and bring in an expert in the power electronics/Battery management system area. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a forward thinking engineering company who are looking to push their product far. This role will be working directly with the head of hardware focusing on the design and development of all battery and power related tech throughout the product. You will be leading the design and validation of all battery components and maintaining these systems through to end of life. Working alongside electronic and mechanical teams to ensure the batteries and power systems are viable within the product and engaging with supply lines to ensure the best compoents are in use. Requirements: 7+ years' experience in battery systems, power electronics, or energy storage applications Strong understanding of battery chemistry and BMS design (SOC/SOH monitoring, balancing, protection, and thermal control) Hands-on experience with Lithium-ion chemistries (NMC, LCO, LiPo) Skilled in energy modelling and simulation (MATLAB/Simulink or similar) Experience developing and automating test procedures for battery characterisation Familiarity with thermal management, EMI/EMC compliance, and smart charging infrastructure Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Benefits: Competitive Salary Pension contribution Healthcare IF/When you are interested in this opportunity get in touch with Daniel Brown at Reperio human Capital Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
