Advanced Practice Clinician Opportunity in Endocrinology

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Clinician to join our established Endocrinology team at Optum NJ, formerly known as Optum Tri-State NJ. Our clinician-led care organization is dedicated to changing the way clinicians work and live.

Position Highlights:

* Clinical autonomy in a multispecialty group practice with a large referral base.
* Physician-led, patient-centered team-based care environment.
* Independent, multi-disciplinary practice with a strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospitals providing a full range of endocrinology services.
* In collaboration with physicians, direct and manage a complete continuum of quality-based care within the interdisciplinary team.
* Full administrative and clinical provider support to assist with patient care.
* Primary office location in Brick, NJ, with potential to share time at nearby Ocean, NJ offices (1-3 days per week).
* Monday-Friday day shift scheduling; no evenings or weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

* In collaboration with physicians, responsible for office consults, follow-up appointments, and outpatient procedures.
* Comfortable treating all aspects of endocrinology and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, and adrenal diseases, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances.
* Consult with patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients.
* Consult with patient's primary care physician and other specialists as needed.

Required Qualifications:

* Prior post-graduate clinical experience in endocrinology practice setting highly preferred.
* Board certification as an advanced nurse practitioner in primary care and/or family medicine or physician assistant certification.
* Active, unrestricted APRN or PA-C license in New Jersey.
* Active and unrestricted DEA License.
* Active New Jersey CDS Permit.
