Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join a file storage facility in Damastown, Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for pulling boxes, picking files, and delivering them to the office for shredding, as well as packing files and boxes for storage.
This role involves heavy lifting and requires a proactive and diligent individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Retrieve boxes and files from storage shelves as per requests.
Accurately pick and pack files for delivery to the office for shredding.
Safely handle and transport boxes and files, ensuring proper care is taken to prevent damage.
Pack files and boxes away in designated storage areas according to organisational guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse area.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of protective equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and efficient workflow.
Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
Report any issues or concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager promptly.
Requirements: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling files and boxes.
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Willingness to work alternating shifts, including early mornings and late afternoons.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
Hours: Monday - Friday, alternating shifts: €***** per hour weekly paid Week 1: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Week 2: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
