Job Description
Milestone Technologies is seeking passionate professionals committed to addressing global challenges through innovation and technology. Our vision is to revolutionize the deployment and support of technology worldwide. The AV/VC Break/Fix Technician plays a vital role in providing high-level technical support for our client’s internal users, requiring expertise in VC platforms such as Zoom and Cisco, IP Networking technologies, troubleshooting TCP/IP issues, switches, routers, and more. Knowledge of SIP, Slack, and familiarity with the AV/VC industry, including hardware manufacturers and best practices, are essential.
Responsibilities
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Tier 2 issues reported by users and via the AV Support queue (e.g., AV cable replacement, room display calibration, sound adjustments)
* Validate operations against documented VC standards
* Manage inbound support tasks
* Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams
* Connect Windows and Mac devices to Audio Visual equipment
* Instruct users in equipment operation if necessary
Skills
* Minimum of 2 years experience in the audiovisual or related field
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Organizational and focus skills
* Wiring diagrams and signal flow understanding or willingness to learn
* Basic knowledge of AV integration, installation, and DSPs
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
* Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow knowledge a plus)
* Experience as an operating technician for live audiovisual events is advantageous
