About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company as a Procurement Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and negotiation, with excellent commercial acumen and margin focus.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with suppliers to purchase key products, managing pricing and communication with stakeholders, and maintaining product data accuracy.
* Key responsibilities include full category management of beverages and snack departments, setting and managing pricing within margin targets, and implementing price updates quickly and correctly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in food service or FMCG buying or commercial experience.
* Strong commercial and margin focus, solid negotiation and supplier-management skills, and the ability to manage third-party relationships and multiple priorities.
* Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving ability, with proactive and self-motivated qualities.
* Advanced Excel skills are essential, with strong MS Office skills overall.
