Payroll and Accounts Assistant Job Description
This vital role is responsible for timely and accurate payroll processing, managing the purchase ledger, and maintaining up-to-date financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process payroll accurately and efficiently
* Manage the purchase ledger and maintain accurate financial records
* Perform bank reconciliations and cash management tasks
* Provide general finance support as needed
Candidates will possess previous experience working in a fast-paced finance department, with proven experience in payroll processing and purchase ledger duties. Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages (Sage 50 or similar) and an Accounting Technician qualification are highly desirable. Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word, are also essential.
