Overview
As a Senior KYC/AML Specialist, you will be part of the Reference Data team, managing the KYC and Counterparty Onboarding functions while supporting trading, operations, transaction services, compliance, legal, and finance. You will work alongside various teams on the trading floor, overseeing tasks such as credit risk analysis, conducting KYC in line with the firm's AML policy, reviewing automated cash transfer processes at Prime Brokers, and setting up new vendors. Collaborating effectively with other departments will be a key part of your daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities
* Manage the firm’s Client Onboarding process.
* Implement and oversee the firm’s KYC & AML policies.
* Perform credit risk analysis, focusing on reviewing financial statements.
* Build and maintain client relationships throughout the onboarding process.
* Coordinate with internal teams such as trading, legal, compliance, and finance.
* Set up and maintain trading accounts.
* Implement the firm’s Vendor Vetting policy.
* Ensure compliance with Mifid 2 obligations related to trader registrations.
* Manage ongoing counterparty screening and daily adverse media checks.
* Collaborate with internal departments on daily and project work.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or higher.
* At least 5 years of experience in a financial institution with KYC processing support.
* Knowledge of compliance functions and AML legislation.
* Innovative mindset with the ability to bring new ideas to the team.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
* Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
* Creative problem-solving skills are a plus.
* Customer-focused attitude.
