Job Title: Culinary Professional
We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to join our team.
About The Role:
* The Commis Chef will be responsible for preparing meal ingredients, setting up for lunch and dinner, and ensuring that food is delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare meal ingredients, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
2. Daily preparation of fresh sandwiches and soups.
3. Set up for lunch and dinner according to the kitchen's instruction.
4. Ensure that food from own station is delivered on time.
5. Perform basic cleaning duties and ensure that workstations are properly sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a kitchen assistant/commis chef and/or suitable qualification.
* Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification or current student of Culinary Arts.
* Possess a passion and genuine interest in food.
* Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends, public holidays.
* Good command of the English language.
