operations team.The Senior Manager will play a key role in supporting the wider NDFA in its delivery of projects across a number of sectors including education, justice and social housing and in the provision of financial advice across a wide range of sectors.The Senior Manager will pay a key leadership role in the team responsible for, inter alia, risk, audit and compliance liaison, reporting, project administration support, corporate support, quality review, procedures and records and systems oversight.This is a senior professional role with leadership and management responsibilities.The successful candidate be expected to demonstrate excellent ability engage with stakeholders including co-ordination of services provided by NTMA corporate functions (ICT, Finance, Risk, Internal Audit, Communications, Procurement, Facilities, Compliance, People, Secretariat, etc).Key Responsibilities Some of the key tasks the successful candidate will be required to perform include: Work closely and manage the relationship with NTMA ICT, Finance, Risk, Internal Audit, Communications, Procurement, Facilities, Compliance, People, Secretariat, Legal and the other functions that are critical to the success of the NDFA.Monitor and oversee the NDFA's procedures and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose and address all relevant internal and external requirements.Deliver the operations of the NDFA including audit management, compliance, and process development.Maintain an effective operational risk management environment working with NTMA Risk to manage and continuously update the NDFA's risk register and the accompanying controls.Ensure that the NDFA unit effectively sets and meets its operational budgets.Represent the NDFA in relevant wider NTMA cross-functional oversight and project activities.Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including other NTMA departments and governance fora.Monitor best practice developments and seek regular stakeholder feedback to inform ongoing management of the function, proposing enhancements where appropriate.Working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Qualifications/Knowledge Third level degree in a relevant area.Relevant professional qualification an advantage.Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate across multiple stakeholder groups.Managed operational activities delivering high quality outputs and process improvements throughout.Good understanding of NDFA business drivers.Experience Relevant experience includes (but is not limited to): 10 years relevant experience in a relevant operations role in professional services, advisory or a commercial organisation of scale.Experience of working in infrastructure/procurement, governance or corporate support/operations is an advantage.Demonstrated results focus with a track record of meeting targets.Skills Strong
