Project Leadership Role
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead our high-profile commercial projects from conception to completion. Your expertise in project coordination, technical leadership, and team management will be instrumental in ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
About the Job
* Manage projects from inception to handover, overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle.
* Develop and implement construction programmes with the Contracts Manager to meet key milestones.
* Lead the project team as the technical expert, providing coaching and mentoring where needed.
* Determine project resource requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Implement and maintain a robust Safety System, fostering an excellent safety culture on site.
* Ensure project quality meets expectations through effective quality management.
* Collaborate with the commercial team to deliver agreed objectives for each project.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed of project progress and any potential issues.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Over 5 years of experience managing complex commercial construction projects, including new builds and fit-outs.
* Proven experience in design and build projects.
* Strong planning and execution skills, with excellent technical knowledge and report writing abilities.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
* Keen understanding of commercial aspects and ability to propose cost-effective solutions.
* Proficiency in MS Office, Project, or similar scheduling software.
