Health and Safety Technical Specialist
This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished Health and Safety professional to drive meaningful improvements across a large, diverse organisation.
* Spearhead the development and implementation of the HSQE strategy across the business.
* Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects focused on enhancing the Safety Management System.
* Collaborate with Regional Health and Safety Teams to address non-compliances and drive corrective action plans.
Main Responsibilities:
* Analyse and report HSQE performance data to senior stakeholders.
* Support governance of safety frameworks, culture, leadership, and forums.
* Provide expert health and safety guidance to functional areas.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A relevant third-level qualification in health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
* At least 5 years' experience in a health and safety role, preferably in utility or related sectors.
* Proven people management skills, including coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
