The Software Product Experience team within ADI's Software and Security Group is expanding.
We are looking for an experienced TypeScript Engineer to join our globally distributed software team.
This team is dedicated to developing the next generation of embedded software development tooling for ADI's embedded devices.
What will I be doing?
Build and maintain ADI's next-generation embedded development tools.
Develop and test TypeScript command-line tools and Visual Studio Code extensions to enhance the embedded development experience.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and embedded software engineers to create intuitive and effective development tools.
Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the development tools.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in TypeScript, VSCode extensions, and embedded development.

What skills do I need?
Industry Experience: 5+ years of relevant industry experience in software development.
Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript, including corresponding testing and mocking frameworks.
Software Engineering Practices: Proficient with standard software engineering practices, particularly agile development methodologies, continuous integration and unit testing Development Tools: Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and its ecosystem.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions across a distributed team.
Continuous Learning: A strong interest in continually learning new skills and technologies to stay ahead in the field.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing VSCode extensions or similar IDE plugins.
Experience with embedded software development and related tools.
Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and ADI products.
Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries.
