Lab Assistant 1- School of Chemical and BioPharmaceutical Sciences (Permanent Wholetime) (Reference: 778a/2024)
The Laboratory Assistant role at the School of Chemical and BioPharmaceutical Sciences supports the safe and effective operation of the chemical laboratories and associated teaching spaces of the School. Reporting to the Senior Technical Officer and/or Head of Discipline/School the Laboratory Assistant will support the safe, effective and efficient operation of these laboratories and teaching spaces including the cleaning of glassware, equipment and laboratories, the preparation of materials and the setting out of instrumentation and equipment as required.

hour working week is in operation.

Salary
The Lab Assistant 1 Salary Scale is:
€43,328 - €44,703 (New Entrants)
Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale.
