Ergo IT Recruitment Services is seeking experienced Senior IT Field Engineers to support multiple sites across County Limerick, County Clare and neighbouring counties. The role is for a large client and will involve installing, configuring, and supporting a wide range of IT hardware, software, and network systems. This is an initial 12 month contract day rate role which will extend beyond this.
What will you do?
Install and configure PCs, laptops, IP settings, system images, and domain joins.
Support and maintain VMware‑based virtual desktop environments.
Set up and troubleshoot iOS and Android devices.
Provide technical support for digital radio systems and antenna equipment.
Assist with Control Room technologies, including CCTV platforms.
Configure and support telephony systems (Avaya/Cisco)
Carry out network patching and general network support tasks.
Install and maintain networked printers and scanners.
Create clear technical documentation
What do you need?
At least 6 years' experience in a similar field support role/Sys Admin/L2
Strong knowledge of VMware and virtualisation technologies.
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
Ability to support a broad range of hardware and software systems.
Full clean driving licence and own transport.
