Role and Responsibilities
Maintain accurate site records, drawings, and documentation.
Interpret and communicate complex plans and technical specifications to site teams.
Manage, monitor and coordinate site works in line with contract documents.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, architects, planners and the wider project team.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractor works and direct labour on a daily basis.
Organise site logistics and plant use to maximise efficiency.
Oversee quality control, BCAR compliance and site health and safety implementation.
Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all activities adhere to regulatory standards.
Identify and resolve technical challenges and site-based issues promptly.
Plan work schedules to meet key project milestones and deadlines.
Ensure works meet specification and programme while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline.
Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proactive approach to work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to deliver projects from inception through to completion.
Self-motivated, with strong initiative and keen attention to detail.
Excellent decision-making, organisational and problem-solving skills.
In-depth technical and practical knowledge of construction processes, standards and the regulatory environment.
Ability to work effectively within a team and foster positive working relationships.
