The Opportunity:
As a BMS Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll combine technical expertise with commercial insight to shape, price, and support major BMS and EPMS projects. You’ll work directly with hyperscale and colocation clients, assessing complex project requirements and turning them into accurate estimates, compelling proposals, and long‑term partnerships.
You’ll be deeply involved from first client contact through to project award—acting as the technical and commercial bridge between engineering teams, project managers, and mission‑critical data centre customers.
Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to define scope and technical requirements.
Identify risks, challenges, and solutions for complex BMS/EPMS environments.
Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors.
Develop professional bids and proposals that win work in the competitive data‑centre sector.
Build relationships with key stakeholders within the data centre ecosystem.
Identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth across Europe.
Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations to ensure alignment.
Desired Experience:
3–5+ years’ experience in BMS, EPMS, automation, or construction‑related estimating.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong commercial acumen: able to negotiate, influence, and win business.
A proactive, self‑driven attitude with strong organisation and time‑management capabilities.
