TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting an Area Service Manager on behalf of a leading Intellectual Disabilities Service based in West Galway. This is a permanent full time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. The service provides support to adults by offering residential, outreach, respite and day services. There are 13 services in total. Salary: from €76446 to €89064 Annual leave: 28 days per annum Requirements: A nursing qualification, RNID/RNMH is an advantage and must be currently registered with the NMBI or a relevant third level qualification in the Health/Social Care Sector. Candidates must be eligible for registration on the Social Care Register at CORU on or before 30th November 2025. View approved qualifications on professionals/education/approved-qualifications/social-care-workers/ Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years management experience in the Health Sector. Candidates must have a management qualification. Candidates should have budgetary/financial, employee relations and team management experience. Candidates must hold a full clean Irish manual driving licence. Proficiency in the Irish language. However, if you are not proficient in the Irish language, the services will support you to develop your proficiency with Irish language classes Candidates must have previous experience working in an Irish Social Care/Disabilities setting. Working hours: 75 hours a fortnight. Contracted hours of work are liable to change between the hours of 8am 8pm over seven days to meet the requirements of the programme. The roster varies in order to meet the needs of the service and accordingly you are required to be flexible in regard to your working hours. Participation in on call roster is an essential part of this post. There is an expectation that a Manager at this level will interface with external agencies and attend meetings outside of normal working hours.
