Title and Summary
Software Engineer II
Cyber Security Services teams develop new capabilities for Mastercard's fraud prevention platform. Our industry-leading platform processes billions of transactions per month with execution times literally 10X faster than you can blink. To uphold the high standards of these fraud and security applications, we are looking for out-of-the-box thinkers to play a critical role in maintaining and improving these products.
You will work as part of an Agile development team. We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented engineer with strong leadership and communication skills. If you want to be part of the team building software to prevent fraud and working on cutting-edge technology, then this is the job for you.
Role
* Work with a talented team of developers and test engineers to develop high-performance, high-volume Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Micro-Services architecture in a cloud-based environment.
* Develop both backend and frontend applications.
* Take ideas to production.
* Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency with automation.
Ideal Candidate Skills
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related applicable experience.
* Experience with Web Services – REST/XML.
* Knowledge of J2EE Web Applications/Web Services with JBoss & WebSphere.
* Knowledge of Spring and developing Microservices.
* Familiar with API development.
* Knowledge of React (preferable) or Angular.
* Cloud Development experience – PCF, AWS, Azure.
* Self-motivated with the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal direction.
* Experience working with continuous integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Chef, Cruise Control, etc.
* Experience working with code coverage and health reporting tools such as Sonar.
