Reservations Manager – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide
Part of the FBD Hotels & Resorts group, we are looking for a full-time Assistant Reservations Manager to join our team on site and support our Reservations and Revenue Managers.

Located by the sea, the Grand Hotel is near the Irish Sea coastline, Malahide Castle & Gardens and a championship golf course.
The town offers stylish restaurants, bars, shops and convenient transport links to Dublin City Centre.
Responsibilities
Accommodation Revenue
Assist the manager with revenue analysis and management to achieve budget targets.
Upsell the hotel's facilities at every opportunity.
Contribute to promotions and offers throughout the year.
Weekly and Daily Reports
Assist the manager in Accommodation Revenue reporting.
Prepare accommodation forecast reports showing annual figures.
Rates
Contribute to the annual rate review in all markets.
Update website with rates and availabilities.
Liaise with Account Managers for all websites and resolve integration issues.
Build relationships with corporate bookers & agencies and forward new leads to the Sales Manager.
Reservations
Assist and support the reservations team.
Ensure all reservation details are accurate.
Accurately allocate tour groups.
Provide tour group summary and analysis at year-end.
Ongoing checking of group provisional bookings two months in advance.
Prepare weekly report for HOD and VIP arrivals.
Respond to all accommodation enquiries within 24 hours.
Action daily reservation tasks for Groups and Individuals.
Maintain all relevant correspondence for Reception.
Receive deposits on bookings and acknowledge receipt.
Ensure all reservations are confirmed and payments processed/secured.
Check allocations of bedrooms with reception.
Forward all reservation/group requirements to the Accommodation Manager.
Follow up non-arrivals and cancellations with payments where appropriate.
Ensure special requests by guests are accommodated where possible.
Reservations Team
Provide ongoing training to the reservations team and enforce SOPs.
Manage weekly rosters and obtain sign-off from the Sales Manager.
Manage holiday requests according to hotel policy and obtain sign-off from the Sales Manager.
Liaise with the Events Team on meeting & conference accommodation requirements.
Liaise with the Events Team on social events requiring accommodation.
Liaise daily with the Sales and Marketing Manager to update sales activity.
Discuss new companies or corporate rate requests with the Sales Manager.
Assist on front desk as required.
Carry out all reasonable duties requested by Management.
