My client, a top Building & Civil Engineering Main Contractor who have extensive operations in a wide range of sectors in Ireland and the UK are now hiring aSite Manager.The successful Site Manager will be working onlarge residential projects inLimerick.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career.Duties:Manage on-site activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, to a high standard, on time, and within budgetManage EHS and Quality responsibilities on site, implementing company policies and ensuring adherence to same across the siteManage site security, and accurate sign-in and out of all personnelMaintain a presentable and safe site, addressing any safety concernsCoordinate with the Commercial department to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials / plant / labour to siteMaintain the site diary, implementing daily and weekly programmesReview programme and plan works to ensure timely delivery of sameMonitor construction schedules and identify potential delays or risks earlyCoordinate daily whiteboard meetings with Subcontractors and monitor progression of agreed actions, ensuring they work effectively and efficientlyBuild and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholdersLiaise with Design Team where appropriateTrack and report on agreed key matrices to the entire site teamAssist the Project Manager in collating and preparing documentation and technical information required for submission to building control authorities and warranty providers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standardsAssist the Project Manager in identifying any project changes which may have financial implicationsMaintain accurate daily record keepingProvide regular updates to Project Manager / Contracts Manager / Construction DirectorConduct regular site inspections and quality control checksEnsure completion of snagging and handover processes to the client or end userCoordinate and supervise subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliersRequirements:5+ years' relevant experience in residential projects is essentialExperience in timber frame is preferableProven track record of delivering high quality construction projects with emphasis on safe and efficient constructionKnowledge of Irish Building Regulations and EHS standardsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsHighly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in Microsoft Office and Document Management System (Please note the company uses Procore software and training will be provided)Commercial AwarenessFull clean driving licenceSalary:Salary circa €75k - €85k DOECompany PensionPrivate healthcareLife AssuranceBonus SchemeProfessional membership feesProfessional development & training opportunitiesEmployee referral incentiveCompany sponsored events & social activities
