We are looking for a motivated and reliable Farm Assistant to join our agricultural team in Fermoy Cork.
Main Duties:
Assisting with daily milking routines and animal husbandry
Feeding and caring for calves, cows, and other livestock
Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and cleanliness
Operating basic farm machinery and equipment (tractor, loader, feeders) — training available
Helping with seasonal tasks such as calving, bedding, and general farm maintenance
Monitoring animal health and reporting any concerns to the farm manager
Ideal Candidate:
Hardworking, dependable, and willing to learn
Comfortable working with cattle and handling farm animals
Good awareness of hygiene, safety, and farm standards
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous farm or livestock experience is an advantage, but not essential — full training provided
