TheStaff Enterprise Systems Architect is a senior systems and technology expert responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of NETGEAR's subscription and payments platforms. This role combines technical execution with strategic oversight, ensuring that NETGEAR's subscription business is scalable, customer-centric, and future-ready.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in transformational enterprise-level roles-modernizing legacy systems, driving execution, and delivering measurable outcomes. They will have deep expertise in subscription management systems (such as ARIA, Zuora, or Stripe Billing), payment ecosystems, and enterprise data architecture, with a strong track record of execution and delivery.
This individual will collaborate closely with engineering, product, finance, and data teams to ensure our subscription and payment platforms are designed to support NETGEAR's planned growth and leverage AI-driven agent shopping flows that enhance customer experience and automation. A deep understanding of data analytics and a strong interest in applying AI technologies will be essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Subscription & Payments Optimization: Ensure NETGEAR's subscription and payment platforms are designed and maintained to support current and future growth, driving operational efficiency and scalability.
* Technology Ownership: Act as the systems owner for subscription and payments platforms, ensuring configurations, integrations, and enhancements align with business goals.
* Systems Management & Troubleshooting: Oversee configuration, optimization, and issue resolution across subscription and payment systems. Ensure compliance and seamless integrations across global markets.
* Data Architecture & Integrity: Design and maintain databases and data lakes optimized for analytics, reporting, and financial accuracy. Guarantee data integrity, consistency, and scalability across systems.
* Engineering Collaboration & APIs: Partner with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and well-documented APIs that enable seamless cross-system communication and support business innovation.
* Analytics & Insights: Use Snowflake, Tableau, and other data tools to provide actionable insights into subscription performance, churn, revenue, and efficiency.
* AI and Automation: Integrate AI and automation into subscription and payment flows to improve billing accuracy, fraud detection, and shopping experiences through agent-driven customer journeys.
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience working with subscription and payment technologies.
* Proven experience in a transformational role at an enterprise level, driving modernization and scalable platform delivery.
* Proven experience managing and optimizing enterprise-level subscription and payment systems with a focus on execution and delivery.
* Deep understanding of data analytics and strong interest in leveraging AI to drive automation, insight, and innovation.
* Deep understanding of global payment compliance, financial operations and digital commerce ecosystems.
* Expertise in data architecture, integrity and analytics using platforms like Snowflake and Tableau.
* Strong technical communication skills with the ability to influence across business and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in leveraging AI for subscription optimization, automation and intelligent shopping flows.
* Background in SaaS or consumer services organizations.
* Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and collaboration across functions.
