Job Title: Academic Instructor in Philosophy
About the Role:
The School of Philosophy at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a temporary lecturer in Philosophy. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our academic community and contribute to the teaching and research mission of the School.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to design and deliver undergraduate modules in early modern Philosophy and the philosophy of social science at undergraduate level, and an MA module in metaphysics. They will also be responsible for evaluating student performance, providing feedback, and contributing to the development of the curriculum.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in Philosophy, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have good communication and organizational skills, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
