Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – Waterford

We’re partnering exclusively with a leading global organisation to appoint a Senior Recruitment Specialist who will own end-to-end recruitment while leading a diverse portfolio of strategic people projects across both their Waterford manufacturing site and Dublin office.
5+ years’ recruitment experience or 5+ years HR Generalist experience with extensive exposure to recruitment and talent management. If you enjoy autonomy, variety, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement and want to broaden your impact without people management responsibilities this is a standout opportunity. You’ll work closely with VP-level and senior stakeholders, gaining unparalleled exposure across the site while shaping the talent agenda for a highly respected employer. Maternity cover contract to start in early March (flexibility to start in February also). Fully onsite role based in Waterford city with travel to Dublin every 6‑8 weeks (day round trip).
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of recruitment delivery across Ireland, while also leading exciting initiatives including graduate development, employer branding, careers outreach, and site‑wide projects. No two days will be the same — this is much more than “just recruitment”.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full end-to-end recruitment across the Waterford manufacturing plant and Dublin office
Partner closely with hiring managers including VPs, Directors and SMEs across the site
Lead and attend recruitment & careers fairs throughout the year
Present at school events to promote early careers opportunities
Conduct and coordinate virtual and on‑site interviews
Arrange references and pre‑employment medicals
Oversee onboarding of new hires
Coordinate LinkedIn and recruitment marketing activity to elevate employer brand
Manage the graduate programme from intake through to activity days, internal secondments and international placements
Lead and participate in a broad range of site‑wide projects across Waterford and Dublin
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a relevant discipline (essential)
5+ years’ experience in a recruitment capacity
In‑house recruitment experience (highly desirable)
Project management capability and comfort leading initiatives (desirable)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management ability and professional presence
