Electrical Systems Coordinator Role
As an Electrical Systems Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and workflows across multidisciplinary teams. Your focus will be on Revit model development, maintenance, and collaboration for electrical systems.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Coordinating and managing the development of electrical BIM models for modular builds.
* Ensuring accurate integration of electrical systems within multi-disciplinary models.
* Implementing and enforcing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific modeling protocols.
* Maintaining model health by performing regular audits, clash detections, and resolving coordination issues.
* Collaborating with design teams to ensure consistent application of BIM standards and naming conventions.
* Facilitating BIM coordination meetings, model reviews, and interdisciplinary design coordination.
* Setting up and managing shared parameters, templates, and families in Revit.
* Supporting the integration of models into Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or similar.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BIM principles, model coordination, electrical systems, and multi-discipline integration. They should also be proficient in Autodesk Revit (Architecture/MEP/Structure) and Navisworks Manage, with experience working on data centre, industrial, or similar large-scale electrical projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a BIM Coordinator or similar role, with specific experience in electrical systems.
* Experience working on data centre, industrial, or similar large-scale electrical projects.
* Strong understanding of BIM principles, model coordination, electrical systems, and multi-discipline integration.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture/MEP/Structure) and Navisworks Manage.
